Sex & Intimacy Therapy London | Dr Erin Caust
Sex & Intimacy Therapy
Support for individuals and couples navigating desire, intimacy, and sexual wellbeing.
I combine somatic therapy, pelvic health knowledge, and practical guidance to help you reconnect with your body, build confidence, and experience deeper connection in your relationships.
Through this work, many people experience:
• increased confidence in their body
• improved connection with partners
• reduced anxiety around intimacy
• greater awareness of desire and boundaries
• improved physical comfort and pleasure
• a more positive relationship with sexuality
What this work is
Sex and intimacy therapy is a space to explore your relationship with your body, your sexuality, and how you connect with others.
Many people come to this work feeling confused, stuck, or disconnected — often unsure where to start or whether what they’re experiencing is “normal”.
In our work together, we look at both the physical and emotional aspects of intimacy, helping you better understand your body, your responses, and your patterns.
This is not just talking — it is a body-aware, practical, and supportive process.
What I Help With
Common reasons people come to sex and intimacy therapy include:
• Low libido or loss of desire
• Difficulty with arousal or orgasm
• Erectile dysfunction
• Pain during sex
• Anxiety or fear around intimacy
• Difficulty connecting with a partner
• Communication challenges in relationships
• Feeling disconnected from pleasure or the body
• Shame or discomfort around sexuality
• Navigating changes in intimacy (e.g. after injury, childbirth, stress)
Who This is For
This work may be suitable for you if:
• You feel disconnected from your body or your sexuality
• You want to improve intimacy in your relationship
• You experience anxiety, tension, or avoidance around sex
• You are navigating changes in your body or desire
• You want to better understand your responses and patterns
• You are curious about developing a deeper, more connected relationship with yourself
You don’t need to have a specific “problem” — this space is also for exploration, growth, and reconnection.
My Approach
My approach brings together:
• somatic therapy (body-based awareness)
• pelvic health knowledge
• nervous system regulation
• communication and relational tools
• education around sexual wellbeing
This allows us to explore both what is happening in the body and how your nervous system and experiences are influencing intimacy.
Everything is tailored to you and approached at a pace that feels safe.
What Sessions Look Like
Sessions are always adapted to your needs, but may include:
• guided conversation and exploration
• education about the body and sexual response
• somatic awareness practices
• Visualisation practices
• Nervous system regulation
• Tantra practices to generate more aliveness and arousal in the body
• breath and grounding techniques
• support with communication and boundaries
Sessions are practical, supportive, and collaborative — you won’t be left just talking in circles.
This work is:
✔ trauma-informed
✔ non-judgmental
✔ inclusive of all genders and sexualities
✔ suitable for individuals or couples
There is no hands-on intimate touch involved in sex and intimacy therapy sessions.
If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin, you’re not alone — and support is available.
This is a space where we can work through things clearly, safely, and without judgement.
